As a little girl, I developed a love for drawing when my Mother used to hand me paper and colour pencils in hopes to keep me distracted while she was cooking. As I grew older, I became my Mother's little sous chef, cooking and baking up a storm in the kitchen. I loved every moment of it!
Having developed my own sense of passion for baking (AND cooking of course!), I decided to pursue advance Cake decorating achieving my Wilton certificates in London, Ontario. It truly is the best of both worlds, allowing me to bake and create edible works of art! Fast forward to present time, et voila! Lavish Cakes is born.
Now, I continue to further my education through workshops and memberships in various guilds and organizations keeping up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques.
